GUIDELINES FOR WORSHIP SERVICE
While abiding by social distancing guidelines, our worship service will begin at 10am. The service will be limited to 50 people max.
WHEN TO ARRIVE
Please arrive early to allow time to be seated. To maintain proper social distancing during the service, seating will be directed by our ushers who will guide you to your seats.
NO CHILDREN MINISTRY OR SUNDAY SCHOOL
For the safety of our families and volunteers, we are not yet offering Children's Ministry during our in-person services. We encourage families to attend service together in the sanctuary, but parents must keep their children within arms-reach at all times.
There will not be any crayons, coloring books, or activity sheets passed out for the kids, so we encourage you to bring your own coloring books or activity for your children.
THE WORSHIP SERVICE
The order of service will be different. To help with being exposed to long to the aerosol of exhaled breath during singing, we will sing two songs to open the service, then do announcements, preach message, and then close with two songs. The length of service should run about 70 minutes.
To help prevent contact spread, we will not be handing out bulletins, message notes, Bible or Registers. We encourage you to bring paper and pen to take notes if desired. You can send your prayer requests via email to Candi at cjohnsonharvest@gmail.com.
The offering will be collected after the service by one of the ushers standing at the sanctuary door. You can place your offering in the offering bucket on the table as you leave the sanctuary, also you can continue to give on-line at our website www.harvestwoodhull.org.
GUIDED DISMISSAL
Once service has ended, our ushers will dismiss everyone by rows just like a wedding and we request that you please not linger once you are dismissed from the sanctuary.
WHAT OTHER SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?
We ask that you please not hug or shake hands with those outside of your family. Instead, please offer a friendly smile, wave, and hello.
The coffee vine and other gathering places in the building will remain closed to help mitigate surface spread and to discourage any non-social distanced gatherings.
WHAT SANITATION MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?
In addition to social distancing measures, we will also be sanitizing restrooms, and all frequently touched surfaces. Hand sanitizer will also be made available.
ARE MASKS REQUIRED?
We ask that you wear a mask upon entry of the building. We are recommending that you keep your mask on during the entire service. We are allowing the removal of mask to make singing a bit easier if necessary, but once singing is finished, we ask that you put your mask back on during the sermon.
SHOULD I ATTEND IN PERSON?
If you or anyone in your home is sick, if you are elderly, high risk, or uncomfortable attending services in person, we encourage you to stay home and instead join us for services via Facebook live.
