Don grew up in a small town in central Illinois. He attended Sunday school until the age of 8 and did not return to church again until two weeks after 9/11/2001. He gave his life to Christ that day and has been excited about his faith ever since.
In June 2008 Don felt called to leave his 20 year career as a supervisor and started working full time for Christ at Camp Youth Hope, a ministry of Christian Friendliness of Moline, Illinois.
Don's passion is to see people come to Christ and to grow in their faith, and to serve at Camp Youth Hope where he now lives with his wife Missy of 23 years, his two sons Kyle and Taylor and daughter Claire, who serves as a summer counselor at the camp.
